FolkWoman Publishing is a small local publisher in the City of Terrace in British Columbia.
Operating in the Skeena Valley, Publisher & Owner Amanda Ramsay would like to recognize that these are the traditional and unceeded lands of the Ts'msyen People, especially the Kitselas & Kitsumkalum Nations.
Media post from Rabble Rouser's Instagram page on Thanksgiving, Publisher Amanda Ramsay and her daughter Ruby McDonald smile for an image. The image reads Hasa̱g̱u nm t'oya̱xsn da g̱asg̱aaw waan. Which means "I want to thank you for how much you have done" in Sm’algyax, translation take directly from the Sm’algyax Living Legacy Talking Dictionary hosted on unbc.

We hope to do much with individuals from diverse nations, cultures and practices.

FolkWoman Publishing aims to use story-telling in diverse ways to help connect individuals that would otherwise never hear one another. As a new publisher, FolkWoman Publishing is open to receiving all kinds of project proposals.
